How to Find Life Purpose

When someone decides they’re going to be an entrepreneur everyone comes out of the woodworks to give them advice about what they think is the key to success. Some people preach “speaking” as the most useful skill while other believe it is listening. The truth is there is no one answer to what will make each individual entrepreneur successful.

So what does this have to do with “Purpose”? Well, I think the most universal thing an entrepreneur needs is purpose to pull them forward and passion to keep the momentum. Purpose isn’t all kumbaya. You don’t need to meditate, watch Oprah or listen to Dr. Phil. All you need to do is figure out your “why” for wanting to go towards entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneur is literally a person who seeks to operate a business without sufficient resources thereby taking on greater than normal economic risks. So it’s important to figure out your “why” for wanting to take such a risk.

How do you know you’ve found your “why”? It’s simple. Your language will shift. You’ll start speaking in the affirmative. You won’t waste time, you won’t use “filler” words, and you’ll say what you mean.
